I sat and read wednesdays Daily Mail newspaper again this morning and especially the article about Simon Wiesenthal|
and it makes me laugh how they can hail someone who claimed to have brought 1,100 fugitive nazi's to justice as "a barve hero
who dedicated his life to the world-wide manhunt for Nazi was criminals"
it later goes on the say that in 1953 he heard from a fellow stamp collector that Eichmann was in Argentine so he tipped off the president of the World Jewish Congress but they didn't seem to care..
he even claimed that in August 1979 he offered a £25,000 reward
for information leading to the capture of Dr Josef Mengele, the "Angel of Death" , and found out in 1985 that six months before he began the search, Mengele had passed away peacefully on a beach in Brazil..
it seems to me that this "hero" was a joke
he couldn't find them himself so he payed others to do it, and even they couldn't do it
doesn't sound like a hero to me
